OUR STORY
KSD Wellness and Educational Foundation was established out of a deep concern for the rising number of vulnerable individuals in Nigeria, particularly those who lack access to basic healthcare, nutrition, and educational resources. The journey began with Kehinde Ajibua the founder of KSD FOUNDATION, as at 2018 she was financially struggling, her kids were in and out of school and things even got worse the following year 2019, her kids were out of school for a year which went on till 2020 when covid started, making it a total of 2years her kids were out of school due to finance. Towards the end of 2020, she came up with a plan of coaching and teaching children for free. Also organizing free lectures for parents on the various parenting styles and how to build a good relationship with their kids because she has a B.Sc. in Early Childhood from University of Lagos. During this challenging phase of her life, she met with other people whose situations are like hers, widows who lost their husbands, kids that also out of school because their parent can’t afford to take them to school and family who can’t afford to give their children 3 daily square meal. All this stirred her up to register her first foundation called Kennymax Healthcare Foundation in October 2022. In that same year She was blessed with a job and things picked up for her, through her foundation she did fundraising for a child diagnosed with anaemia and in deer need of funds to carry out an operation. All thanks to God, through her first foundation she was able to successfully raise the fund for the operation and the child life was saved. In addition to fundraising, her first foundation also organized free lessons for out of school kids whose parent can’t afford education and free summer lessons for kids during the holidays. She hired teachers to conduct these lessons and the teachers wages was financed by her. Towards the end of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, she wanted to open a corporate account for the first foundation to be able to partner with bigger sponsors and donors but one of the trustee was not in support of it and it stalled the foundation from making progress. In 2025, she met with business advisors and consultants as regards her foundation and she was advised to open a new foundation with a new board of trustee that aligns with her larger vision. This led to the founding of KSD Wellness and Educational Foundation, it was officially registered on the 10th of November 2025 by Corporate Affairs Commission. Prior to the official registration this foundation gives free educational materials to school who don’t charge for tuition. Ever since KSD Wellness and Educational Foundation has been founded it is committed to empowering vulnerable groups, restoring hope, and providing relief through programs designed to address the most pressing needs of underserved communities across Lagos State and beyond.eet the children whose lives are gently transformed through kindness, care, and the simple gift of school supplies.
